Jeff Martin I think Hidden River won us all over. They are that perfect combination of cool location, interesting story, great people and fantastic beer.
No whole brewery disappointments, I’d say. Didn’t love Pottstown United’s attempt at a West Coast IPA but their lager and saison were good.
Alex Crowe Sly Fox for established style quality, Pottstown for balanced innovative style recipies and quality.
Chris Dietrich I liked them all. Hidden River gave the best presentation (supposedly the silent partner’s first ever brewery tour). The ambiance, food smells, and high octane beers were impressive. Pottstown United has a lot of potential. Stickman was fun. They seem like they are finding their own pace and niche. Sly Fox was a nice peak under the hood of such a large facility. I’m really glad we forced ourselves to that last stop. I could have stayed at Hidden River all night.
Kevin Myers I also liked them all for different reasons. My only critique was Stickman had a lack of variety (well not technically) but was nearly all IPA's and "lighter" beers. Hidden River was awesome for all the reasons already mentioned.
Corey Ruff There was something redeeming about all of them, but Hidden River was my favorite by far. Thanks Sean for setting this up!
Chris Noll I didn’t have a bad beer all day! Great trip!

Mike Pantalone Coconut porter from PUB and their saison was good. I really enjoyed the American tripel at Stickman. The Irish stout at hidden river along with dipa we had in the brewery were awesome. Honestly i don’t remember what i drank at Slyfox but the food was good! It was a great day. The bus driver on the other hand... He did manage to do a 3-5 point turn in that driveway!!
Richard Sparano That coffee stout at Hidden River “La Paz,” it was fantastic, wish they had some in cans.
